In this fine, old house open fires, cosy lounges, fine antiques and tapestries create a sense of calm and comfort whilst the 38 charming bedrooms located in the award winning extension, have all been individually furnished. Dinner is served by candle-light in the exquisite, 17th century, oak panelled restaurant whilst the Long Bar has a simpler brasserie style menu.
The Restaurant at Holdsworth comprises three beautifully furnished rooms overlooking the garden. The seasonal menu is creative and stylish making the best use of fresh local produce. The Coppleridge Inn, Motcombe, is a converted 18th century farmhouse set in 15 acres of meadow, woodlands and gardens, overlooking the beautiful Blackmore Vale. Within the Coppleridge Inn there is a warm and welcoming bar with a gallery where traditional beers and a wide selection of wines from around the world are served. From the bar you can choose from a range of home-cooked bar meals featuring traditional favourites, ethnic dishes, game, a daily changing fish selection and vegetarian dishes. The candlelit A'la carte restaurant at the Coppleridge Inn uses fresh ingredients from local suppliers to provide a wide variety of dishes to please every taste.
There are many places of interest for visitors staying at the Coppleridge Inn, Motcombe, including Stourhead, Kingston Lacery, Gold Hill, Stonehenge, Longleat and Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum.
Within an hours drive of the Coppleridge Inn are the beautiful old historic cities of Salisbury and Bath, the Dorset Coast and Bournemouth.

The Crown Lodge currently holds the England Squash Silver Charter Award. The Hotel has an active membership and provides classes for all age groups. Courts are booked for 40 minutes, using two tokens. A token costs £3.10.


To relax at the Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel there is the resident's bar which has a log fire in the winter months, and a cosy lounge, which has breathtaking views of Breedon Hill.
The Dining room is open each evening for residents, the food served is not pretentious but is traditional farmhouse fare, using their own and local ingredients where suitable; Venison from the hotel's own deer herd, pheasant in season from the local shoot, vegetables grown in the Melbourne Valley, and their own eggs for the breakfast table.

The Duxford Lodge Hotel is surrounded by beautifully kept and secluded gardens, the sweeping drive takes you past the sun terrace to the four garden rooms, two of which have four-poster beds, standing where the stables of yesteryear were built.

When visiting the Lounge Bar, decorated with many pictures of aeroplanes and fighter pilots, you can imagine the frequent visitors during the last World War which included Winston Churchill, Douglas Bader and Bing Crosby in their number.


Edenhall village sits in the beautiful Eden Valley nestling between the rugged Pennine hills and the romantic Lakeland fells.

The Edenhall Country Hotel's function room can accommodate up to 30 people boardroom style and 50 theatre style. Room hire includes tea, coffee and homemade biscuits on arrival, use of OHP and screen and flipcharts.
