The Crown Lodge Hotel boasts that the moorings restaurant, bar and lounge areas are climate controlled ensuring a relaxed, convivial atmosphere, in the winter the warmth from the fires adds to the feeling of well-being.
The Moorings restaurant has been recognised by the AA with a rosette for a sixth year running. The menu is varied and meets high standards of quality; the chef uses the best local produce he can source, the fresh fish supplier supplies the Queen at Sandringham, the butcher raises his own animals ensuring they are reared on the best feeds.
A variety of conferences and functions can be accommodated, with various room combinations giving the flexibility to cater for small private meetings or parties of 6-14 to groups in excess of 120 people for a set meal.
The Crown Lodge currently holds the England Squash Silver Charter Award. The Hotel has an active membership and provides classes for all age groups. Courts are booked for 40 minutes, using two tokens. A token costs £3.10.
